Chinese New Year Dinner

The Chinese New Year celebration comes to The Carriage House again! Chef Janos Wilder and Chef Devon Sanner will create another menu of Asian dishes to take you through the new year. We’ll also be welcoming back the Jade Lion dancers to celebrate the Year of the Rat.

Menu:

YUSHENG PROSPERITY TOSS SALAD

salmon, daikon, cucumber, carrot, jicama, pickled ginger, pomelo, sesame seeds, wontons, peanuts, and plum sauce

LOBSTER XO DUMPLING, PORK SHUMAI, SHRIMP SPRING ROLL

·         Potsticker: Maine lobster, dried scallops and shrimp, Chinese BBQ sausage

·         Steamed Pork Dumpling:  ginger, garlic, mushrooms

·         Crisp Spring Roll:  shrimp and vegetables

ROASTED QUAIL STUFFED WITH STICKY RICE, CHAR SIU

quail stuffed with dim sum-style lo mai gai sticky rice, with citrus glaze and ginger scallion sauce

RED-COOKED PORK WITH SHANGHAI NIAN GAO

Shanghai-style braised pork belly with stir fried rice cakes and yu choy

NEW YEAR CAKE, COCONUT + SESAME PANNA COTTA, PINEAPPLE TART

sweet rice flour cake with coconut milk panna cotta and Singaporean pineapple jam filled pastry

Cost is $87.50 (includes half bottle of wine per guest, gratuity and tax).
